Another person I met through guest blogging is illustrator, Erin Mcguire. She incorporates type and hand-drawn letters into her work, but I think I like her character drawings best.

Margin Detail

Another thing I learned about through the guest blog is a new collaborative project between Chris Piascik and Chad Kouri called Margin Detail. And to quote their site:"Margin Detail is a collection of unrefined doodles by working illustrators and designers including Eric Ellis, Chad Kouri, Jesse Hora, Chris Piascik and Kate Bingaman-Burt as well as other guest contributors."

I recently found out that bird-watching guides have bird "voices" listed with each bird. I'm now very interested in the bird field guide and have been borrowing it from my boyfriend for quite some time. (I also make him do the bird voices sometimes, he is talented ;).
