Lehel: yahoo headlines
interesting hand-lettering project from lehel that uses yahoo headlines for content. Content wise, reminds me of Linzie Hunter's spam one-liners project.

Smock: calligraphy wedding invitation
smock letter-pressed invitation using "Smock Spencerian calligraphy font we had this font made just for us — it’s based on our favorite calligrapher’s penmanship". A font that actually retains the hand-drawn look (doesn't happen very often!)

Election day is over!
Well, it's over as far as I'm concerned. My vote has been tallied. I'm curious to learn what my "swing" state ends up doing. That's it for me this week. See you next week!

DIY or Die etsy shop: Republicans represent
This one of the few creative/hand drawn items that I found in support of the Republican candidates. Although, if you take a good look at the store, you'll find they have more democratic representation, 11 to 4 if my count is right.

Creative people are democrats
Judging from the election loot you can find on etsy, creative people are definately democrats.

Chris Piascik: political views
Well, now we know what Chris Piascik thinks, ha. From Chris Piasik's flickr photostream. Found via Kids and Cocktails.
I'm rather slammed this week, so I think I'm going to focus on the election coverage early this week… then drop off for the rest of the week. Who would've thought that four months into working for myself that I'd be too busy, geesh.
