I vaguely remember Babar books as a kid, mostly I remember the cartoon I would watch before school. I remember we had some of the books in French (my mom is a school librarian, so there were a lot of books around). Anyhow, I think I need to take a second look at the illustrations. found via print a day

I especially loved this post. For some reason Babar has been popping up in my life a lot in the past week. I've collected elephants since i was a child and so babar is fond memory. Hahah.
