neat video found over at print a day

Where the Wild Things Are

Myra from double-sided tape alerted me of the release of the Where the Wild Things Are movie trailer last week. And to quote her, the hand-drawn type is "to die for".

The trailer is definitely worth a look. Spike Jonze + Arcade Fire + Maurice Sendak + hand-drawn type, I will definitely be seeing this one.

Nomaphoto

Oatmeal & Cinnamon was mentioned over at nomaphoto. Thanks for sending this over, Leo!

Over the weekend, Margin Detail relaunched their website and had a doodle party to celebrate. Although, I didn't attend the party, I did contribute some doodles to the cause.

Free People: August 2008 Catalog

I can't believe I haven't posted anything about Free People in the past, but they are a brand that likes hand-lettering. I bookmarked this catalog a long time ago to share on the blog… it's one of those paper catalogs turned in to a flash page turner.
